Subtle Edgy Era 🖤
Dear Diary,
Today my planner felt different… like it stepped into a slightly edgier version of itself.
I didn’t abandon softness or elegance, but I wanted something stronger underneath it. A quiet confidence. So instead of the usual delicate palette, I layered in deeper tones and small, bold moments. Nothing overly bright… just intentional pops of color that held their own on the page. A muted crimson line here, a deep plum tab there, a charcoal brushstroke cutting across a corner like a piece of abstract art.
It felt a little daring, but still very composed.
I played with abstract shapes today… imperfect curves, blocks of color, tiny marks that didn’t necessarily serve a planning purpose but made the page feel alive. Like a miniature gallery tucked between appointments and reminders. The balance was important to me. I didn’t want chaos; I wanted expression that still respected the structure of the planner.
Strong femininity, to me, looks like this: bold but not loud, creative but still refined, expressive without losing composure. Classy. Demure. Intentional.
I realized how much joy I get from merging art with planning. The planner isn’t just a place to organize time… it’s a place to translate energy. Some days it’s soft and quiet. Other days it carries a sharper edge. Today it felt confident, like it knew exactly what it was doing.
The abstract moments, the deeper colors, the careful structure around them… it all made the page feel like a reflection of where I am right now. Still elegant, still thoughtful… just with a little more edge.
xo,
Gabbie
